Warning: This post is 90% filled with stuff planned for or about my best friend... RACHEL. =P Happy Birthday Rachel Darling!!!! Hope euu have a wonderful 15th birthday dearest!!!! Hope all your birthday wishes come true!!! I already know one has came true, you gt your pretty, sleek sony camera!!!! Whoop! so happy 4 euu! Anyway, let me repeat my wishes 4 you... Hope you have a great, wonderful, exciting, happy, marvellous, splendid, terrific and superb year ahead!!!! All the best for your O LEVELS! Hope u do really really well and we can go to VJC together! ^^ (hopefully i gt in too... hmmm) Thanks for being such a great BEST friend! Wouldn't make it past sec 3 without u!!! =) Thx for listening and understanding. I enjoyed EVERY second wif u! Esp the tiring yet fun camp at OBS and the most enjoyable and memorable trip ever to AUSTRALIA! Hope we would enjoy another wonderful year together in 4A!!!! loVe u so!!! Happy birthday darling! best friends 4 ever! xxoo ja[mi]e okay, think i'm being very open in my birthday greetings to rachel... xD Last night i actually stayed up till 12 midnight for this special birthday gal n wish her happy b day exactly on the FIRST second of her b day ^^. Was listening to 987fm to pass the time when i remembered that the Muttons does this birthday call thing in which one sms them if u haf a friend who is having her/his b day the next day n they would call her/him together wif the friend and wish her/him a happy birthday! plus songs and all kinda jokes... ^^ Heard them do it a few times when i stayed up late. I felt that it was REALLY REALLy cool and it would be such a surprise if one were to get such a call on her/his birthday!!! I know would be really overjoyed if the Muttons called me on my birthday!=D *hint hint* xD okay, anyways, i smsed them at about 11 45... Then waited... and waited... 12am came and no calls from the Muttons. =(disappointing... so i just went ahead in calling Rachel's hp. All ready to scream into the phone and sing a happy birthday song 4 her but no answer! *frowns* Call again... and one last time... No answer.. =( guessed that Rachel slept le... so just sent a long, 3 messages full of birthday wishes to her. =) Then at 12 32am, my phone rang... 0.o "Hello?" "Hey JAMIE! it's the muttons from 98.7fm!" LOL, so these 2 funny guys went on asking me about rachel and their plan to call her. Sadly, Rachel's already asleep, and it would be so weird to call her home n get someone to wake her up.. So evil. =P So just informed them that Rachel has slept... yea... no choice. Then the muttons just wished her on air la, can't call. yup... Firstly, i'm really glad the Muttons called and replied to my sms. hehe, never waste my sms! =P Can't help but think about the surprise Rachel would get if she was awake and got the call... haha. I myself got all excited when they called me la... =P Oh well, the birthday girl shouldn't be kept up late anyway... Hope Rachel still had a great birthday and got that surprise from her dad buying her a camera instead of the one i planned 4 her. =D After all, it's the thought that matters right? xD alright, now today Rachel has sailing and all, so went out to watch a movie and kinda 'celebrated' her birthday the day before, though we didn't mention anything about it until i said my goodbyes to her that night. Firstly, the plan for thurs is for RJC to go ice skating together... but sadly cyn gt npcc.. =( busy gal... how come np like almost EVERYDAY also haf one!!!!! scary lo. =P So last min, change plans to blading, Got Changtat, Nic, Tim, Mel and Azri i think.. hmmm. Then it rained and after influence from the netballers, i had the urge to watch "The Gameplan!" , so changed plans and end up with only 4 going. Rach, Tat, Nic and Me, yup =) Now the MALU part... gosh, i'm so embarrassed. We rushed to the MRT station and somehow we actually got onto the WRONG train. -_- Worst part, we only realised it till we reach Lavender! ZzzZZz. terrible! We were late, due to how careless and BLUR we were, Sorry for making u 2 wait!(changtat n Nicholas) The movie, despite the normal, cliche plot, was really enjoyable! as recommended my many. It managed to make me laugh and cry! Love such movies! =D Plus happy endings are always a bonus! =DDD Thru the movie, Nicholas kept passing their (tat and him) popcorn to me and Rach. lol... we took some, pass back to him and after he passed to changtat, 10mins later, passed back to us... zZzZzz... End up just holding THEIR popcorn, lazy play the passing popcorn game. i got a move to enjoy! =P Went to Long Johns for dinner where we had some funny conversations... Nicholas would suddenly contribute some funny answers which is totally out of the whole topic... LOL. hilarious... oh yes, it was kinda weird when me and changtat were standing in longjohns waiting 4 seats and Nic who is suppose to be doing so is standing outside. 0.o Wonder what's he doing outside. lol... so in total i really enjoyed my day, plus had great food and movie =) Thanks tat and nic for coming 4 this impromptu movie outing... and of course i hope Rachel enjoyed herself. =D kk, i'm done... is this post too long again? =x ohhh, last thing to add, i LOVE my mommy 4 bringing me down to tm and allowing me to buy 2 beauTIful Levis jeans! WHoop! wish come true! =DDD |

alright, alright, i'll lay down on the emo posts and post one NORMAL one k? lol... hmmmm, okay, i'll talk about the house leader camp which happened last fri and lasted till the NEXT day... only 1 night... hmmmm... very very short camp. At first i expected it to be really boring, after all, what can u do within 2 days!! Plus i realised that there would only be 28 or so ppl going!!! and only 5 GIRLS!!! ZzZzZZ... BUT! in the end, i did have fun and guess i would say it was enjoyable... I gotta experience what it felt like being in a COLAPSING and LEAKING tent... flooding should be the right word... I got bitten by crazy mozzies which left 50 or so mosquito BITES.. Gotta learn cheers, somehow got closer to teachers (mainly tagore house managers) and i got introduced to new ppl! Mostly sec 2 boys. yup... k so left sch after truncated. Totally amazed at how little justin brought there. LOL.. Arrived at Changi, left off for 30 mins to grab some snacks or lunch if some had nt eaten... Then onto the bum boat and to pulau ubin. As i expected, our camp is at the exact same place where the sec 2 had their cohort camp. First thing i saw was TCP!!!! ^^ The sight of it still fills me with so much excitement and wonderful memories! Missed the SL! So had some talk about energy... Then went out to do activities. Broke up into grps, mainly sec 3s (Matching pipes) and the other is sec 2(Mei Mei). Did some rope balancing thing... the one i was present when 2A did it.  There! 2A doing the Manja walk. =)Shewin was in charge of it all... Hmmmmm, compared to 2A, i think we lack cooperation and communication. Well, the guys were mostly jumping alll around... "choing" over... hmmmm... After 20++ mins, we were so called 'done'. The guys actually FORGOT about the gals who haven't done it...-_- haiz... Kk, the guys though of a grp name- Matching pipes. Guess which advertisement we adapted that from!!! The cheer was to copy what was said on the advertisement with slight actions. LOL... quite weird but it was... creative... =) "Hi! i'm selling me house!do u LIKE it?!?!?" LOL Next activity was 'mission impossible' where there was this bottle in the middle of a large circle made by rope. We had to get the ping pong ball, which is in the bottle, out using water and then get the bottle out without touching the floor. We were given 2 separate ropes, a pail and a harness with a carabina attached to it. Trail and error, finally got a solution to hang the pail on top of the bottle and use the other rope to tilt the pail and pour the water in... We managed to accomplish the first task but for the getting of the bottle out, we actually smashed the bottle. xD opps... Observation for this activity is that... Our group really REALLY lack cooperation and teamwork... The poor sec 2 guys were just sitting at a corner, nt involved in anything . =( They did have ideas... but hmmm, didn't have a chance to voice out??? I also had problem discussing my ideas with the guys. So here's the situation, the sec 3 guys in our group were tying the ropes and all, filling the pail with water and mostly doing everything... at first without much of a plan... So in the end they kinda paused & started to brainstorm for ideas... WHILE... the others just sat at a corner, neglected and ignored... =( I guess we should have sat together FIRST, before picking up and equipment, to discuss what we were going to do. Listen to all ideas and pick the best. Wouldn't that include everyone and finish the job efficiently... hmmmmm... The girls later end up helping to tilt the bottle... The sec 2 guys still sitting at the side... i went over to ask them for some ideas... but hmmmm... i couldn't really get much going cuz the sec 3 guys were already doing smt else... so they just let go of their idea.... -------------teamwork, cooperation, LEADERSHIP-------------------- alright, next... learnt some cheers, pitch tents and dinner. after, was NIGHT WALK!!! Went in pairs and had to walk down the road and past a chinese cemetery. Grouped accordingly to our house grp so went by level. Justin the BRAVE went alone. Gotta admit that i WAS scared at first... didn't expect it to be that dark! it got quite hard to see the road in front of us and the lush vegetation hanging over the sides made things worse.... due to the moonlight and darkness of the 9pm night, white coloured stuff had an eerie glow in the dark. I actually got a fright from a white sign board in front which SEEMED to be floating... xD soon, after walking down the road and talking to peien, got used to it. =) Oh yes, there was this SPLIT road which we came to and PANICED. imagine u turn into the wrong road and got lost! i definitely won't want to spend the night in such an area waiting for help... =P so we just stopped and kept looking out for a 'blue light' which we were told it led the way. We couldn't find any! Panic panic panic! Then Sharmaine and Edwin came. stood there for awhile longer before an instructor came out from one of the road and shouted to us to walk down the other route... PHEW Walked on and finally reached the holy Thai temple where we had to sit, wait and get bitten by hungry mosquitoes... ZzZzZ. The walk back was fun, chat with Faridzuan about sch, results and class. Back in the conference hall, went for house meeting where everyone were too tired to really listen or think about whatever we gotta plan., so Ms wong and Ms toh decided to save it 4 tmr and cut it short. ^^ u gotta LOVE tagore's house managers! At about 10pm, let off, bathe then SLEEP! ^^ Fitful sleep thruout... kept waking up every hour or so... =( Then once woke up by the yelping of some animal and a dog... 0.o We didn't dare open the covers to take a look outside, in case they budge in or smt.. =P but we could tell that they were REALLY close to out tents. yikes! My first guess was that a younger puppy was being attacked by an older dog...Heart pain sia, hearing such yelping... kept thinking of my puppy at home! Was later told in the morning by the boys that it was a wild bore being attacked by a dog... O.o The noise died down and the 2 fighting animal ran off the to other side... Went back to sleep and the next thing i knew, our tent was being swayed by heavy rains and strong winds... Our tent was on the verge of collapsing!!!!! All woke up to hold up the tent while rain water splashed in... mayday! Mayday! tent going down! lol.... olivia and sharmaine in the tent next to ours ran over before mr singh came over to tell us to head over to the conference room... Packed out stuff and ran barefooted over. The ground was terrible full of SHARp stone! ouccchhhh! So from that time (5am) to 7am, stayed in the conference room, couldn't slp already. End up making paper cards before the sec 2s guys offered us cards. LOL. Breakfast, unpitched tent, learnt cheer then sat together to think of a cheer fro matching pipes. i didn't know much cheers so let the guys think lo. Sat in a circle... one side noisy, one very quiet.... same problem la. Look over to the other side of the room, all members of Mei Mei were bending over to give suggestions about their new cheer. Everyone involved, everyone participating, everyone excited about THEIR cheer... Thought for a while, whether i should get everyone involved... but look at the faces of the sec 2.... then the sec3s who were busy making the cheer.... hmmmm, then came the barrier of me nt being as experienced as the NCC guys with cheers... haiz... forget it.. Alright... so we gt a cheer. The rain stopped and we headed outside to play captain's ball! That was fun =) Tiring to run about on sand. First game, Matching Pipes won Mei Mei by 1. 2nd we lost by 3 i think... Next was the choosing of star players against TEACHERS! oh the game against them was exciting. Firstly, the teachers were very rough! obviously the guy teachers like... MR SINGH!!! lol, he's dying to win. Most guy teachers would start playing ruby style captain ball and just thrown themselves on you to snatch the ball. Some would stand RIGHT in front of you... others just yank the ball outta your hands. lol... now one more point to note, we were playing on SAND. Tiring to run! painful if kicked and when u catch the ball, the sand goes right onto your face and if your lucky... your eye... zZzzzZz. No doubt, it was fun =) Justin, Banjamin, Olivia, Sharmane, Faridzuan, Joshua??? erm.... who else??? xD Sharmane did an incredible job! She's really really good at both throwing and catching. Justin and Mr Singh were having some 'fight' of some sort. Saw them both wrestling each other for the ball.. LOL... Faridzuan was a great defender. =) Everyone ended up giving up on the rules and get 'down and dirty'. Most crawled on the sand to snatch the ball, rolled onto the sand or WATER, kana pushed down, wrestled to the floor or ending up in a huge ball of ppl all snatching for that SMALL volley ball. LOL, The irony? Mr Singh and his "Don't play rough!" right after he had tackled u down and snatch away the ball. -_-" The others were all cheering at the side, making the atmosphere more fun and competitive. =) i had fun, loads, truck loads of fun, despite the cuts, kicks, smacks and sand... Later took pictures and went to bathe. I WANT the photos!!!! gotta go bug the teachers to get it from the company. So what happen next was lunch while watching models strutting up and down. Frankly, they weren't good and quite.... blur if u ask me. Kept stopping half way and turning to the director asking where to walk. -_- okay... Then took pictures before going back to the conference room,. Played cards, talked and then came up with group/house cheer. i think tagore did really well, and i wanna commend justin for his loud voice...though it went off half way.=P Rutherford won the cheer competition with their catchy cheer and zahran's hilariously exaggerated actions. haha! You don't get to see zahran like that in class...So i've found out smt new about a fellow 'quiet' classmate of mine. =) NExt, house meeting again where we had holiday hw! oh no! =( gotta think of 5-10 cheers... haiz... anyone gt any funny, cute cute one? do share!!!! help TAGORE! =D Then we headed home. yup. That's all for the short short camp. =) I think if the camp was any longer, i would be too lazy to post it. LOL..  |

when you look back at your life... what do you see... what do you feel... what would you think, what would you remember. What would you tell others, what would you smile about, what would you cry about.... what you be important to you then seem so damn senseless.... The worst part is the other way round... to remember what you thought was useless then, yet to turn out to be the most important now... about how you ruined it by over judging... how senseless you had been.. how dumb... if only... IF ONLY.... And you regret... sometimes i wished it could be different.. sometimes i wonder what would have happened if...................... would it be a whole lot different? would it be a whole lot worse... perhaps... i was wrong...perhaps it was meant to be... somehow... someway... i still think about you... |
